Circle K Stores Inc. is an international chain of convenience stores currently owned by the Canadian multinational Alimentation Couche-Tard. Founded in 1951 in El Paso, Texas. Circle K has become one of the most widely recognized convenience store brands, known worldwide for quality products and great customer service.
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as engineer of record for over 60 Circle K projects across multiple states.
Murphy USA operates 1,474 retail fueling stations in 26 US states. Over 1,100 sites are located near Walmart stores. ... Murphy Express sites are typically 1,200-3,400+ square feet that offer a larger array of products and more fueling lanes than the original format.
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as engineer of record for over 40 Murphy Oil and Murphy Express locations across multiple states.
QuikTrip Corporation is a privately held company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Founded in 1958, QuikTrip has grown to a more than $11 billion company with 800+ stores in Eleven States. Those revenues place QuikTrip high on the Forbes listing of largest privately held companies.
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as engineer of record for over 17 QT locations across multiple Texas.
7-Eleven Inc. headquartered in Dallas, Texas, 7-Eleven operates more than 60,000 convenience stores, mostly in North America and Asia. The chain was founded in 1927 as Tote'm Stores until it was renamed in 1946.
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as engineer of record for over 14 7-Eleven locations across California and Texas.
Clean Energy is the largest domestic distributor of natural gas fuel in North America.
SDC’s Principal has played a critical role in the development of over 130 natural gas fueling stations nationwide, while performing Engineer of Record services on over 40 locations across the country.
Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) is an American oil company with operations in the United States, Indonesia, the North Sea, the South China Sea, and Mexico. It has more than 1,300 gas stations in the western part of the United States, and recently five gas stations in northwestern Mexico.
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as engineer of record for over 13 ARCO convenience store and fueling projects with carwash located across California.
AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE
Caliber Collision was founded in 1997as a leader in the auto collision repair industry with more than 1,000 locations across 32 states. Service First Auto, a Caliber Collision company, operating over 20 locations across Texas.
SDC has designed, managed and served as engineer of record for 11 Locations located across Texas, Colorado, Utah and Arizona.
TELECOMMUNICATION EXPERIENCE
Mobilitie is a global provider of complete wireless real estate solutions, they build, manage, and maintain wireless and wireline infrastructure to deliver optimal coverage in the most demanding and challenging environments. From high-rises and hospitality venues to the largest sports stadiums, entertainment arenas and more, providing robust solutions that not only deliver the coverage and capacity needed today but also anticipate the needs of tomorrow.
SDC’s Principal has designed and managed over 50 Cell Towers throughout California and Nevada, along with a Google Fiber Optic network in northern California.
SOLAR EXPERIENCE
Sunpower Solar program included solar panel installations for big box retailers located across the country. The program included Walmarts and Home Depot Stores. Borrego Solar develops ground-mounted distributed generation solar farm facilities throughout Illinois, Massachusetts, New York and California. Site improvements include solar panel arrays with trackers/racking/ string inverters, transformers/switch gear, riser poles, cabling, fencing and a limited area of gravel/paved drive for site access and maintenance. Borrego Solar design & installation of facilities typically occurs within agricultural sites were the systems will be maintained/operated for minimum of 20 years.
SDC’s Principal was principal in-charge of the alternative energy and solar program, performing Civil Engineering, Stormwater Management and Due-diligence, as well as Entitlement & Permitting services for over 15 Borrego solar panel projects in Illinois. The majority of the projects were 10 megawatt (MW) systems (30 ac. to 160 ac. in size), while a few were 20 MW (160 ac. to 500 ac. in size) for utility-scale solar. Sunpower Solar rooftop projects include sites in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Colorado and Maryland.
BIG BOX RETAIL EXPERIENCE
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as Engineer of Record for over 20 Walmart Stores including, Supercenters, Small formats and Neighborhood Markets, as well as 9 Home Depot locations across California & Texas, 2 Sam’s Club locations in California and 4 Target locations in California. The scope of services ranged from expansion of existing store, to take-over of existing space and new ground-up projects.
GROCERY STORE EXPERIENCE
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as Engineer of Record for over 15 ALDI Stores across California, and 2 Wholefoods Markets in Texas. ALDI Stores range in 18 to 19,000 SF locations and Wholefoods 30 to 43,000 SF. The scope of services ranged from take-over of existing space to new ground-up projects.
RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as Engineer of Record for over 23 In N Out Burger locations across California and Nevada; 18 Carl’s Jr locations across southern California; 8 Texas Roadhouse locations in Texas and California, and 9 Starbucks Locations in California. The scope of services included CUP & Entitlements for Drive-Thru permits as well as on-site and off-site civil engineering design for new ground-up and major renovation projects.
RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE
SDC’s representative project is a 3-story, 8-unit residential apartment project in Redlands CA. The project is developed on an approximately 20,000 SF vacant land in the historic district. The proposed scope of work includes Entitlement, on-site and off-site improvement plans along with stormwater BMP Bioretention facilities.
HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE
Walgreen Company or simply Walgreens is an American company that operates as the second-
largest pharmacy store chain in the United States behind CVS Health. The company operated 9,277 stores in the United States. It was founded in Chicago, Illinois, in 1901. The Walgreens headquarters office is in the Chicago suburb of Deerfield, Illinois.
Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. GaA provides kidney dialysis services through a network of 3,994 outpatient dialysis centers, serving 345,096 patients. The company primarily treats end-stage renal disease (ESRD), which requires patients to undergo dialysis 3 times per week for the rest of their lives. With a global headquarters in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany and a North American headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, it has a 38% market share of the dialysis market in the United States.
SDC’s Principal has designed, managed and served as Engineer of Record for several Walgreens locations throughout southern California, with a concentration in San Diego County region. Fresenius experience also includes Multiple locations throughout southern California with concentration in Riverside Count (inland) area and Los Angeles County. The scope of services for both programs included CUP & Entitlements, on-site and off-site engineering design as well as stormwater management and Dry-Utility coordination.
FLOODPLAIN EXPERIENCE
SDC has completed multiple Floodplain Reclamation and mitigation projects nationwide, including projects located in, Menifee, CA, Murphy TX, Harrisville, UT, Fort Carson, CO & Tehachapi, CA. The scope of the projects varied from LOMR-F for locations that Base Flood Elevation had already been elevated to full CLOMR & LOMR process requiring HEC Model and complete FEMA approvals with Map Amendments.
